separate lids and tubes of lipsticks.

*tip:  it does not have to be just c-green lipsticks! the more the merrier to make a cozy home for the bees.

gather together as many lipstick tubes and lids as you have obtained.

face tubes and lids upwards so the open ends of each tube is facing you, and push them together, resembling a honeycomb pattern. you can combine the tubes and lids using rubber bands, hot glue, or hair ties.

3.

secure your newly built beehive in an area populated by the bees! you can tuck the hive into the ground, in a tree, in a low down garden, anywhere you can put your mind to  or know you have seen bees and wait. it may take the bee’s some time to recognize the home  is for them.

4.

once you realize that bees are inhabiting the home, keep your distance! you do not want to harm the bees or scare them into stinging. please know that you have done your part in creating a new habitat for one of earth's endangered creatures.

c-green thanks you for making a change!
